Two people were killed Sunday afternoon in a small airplane crash in Northern California, authorities said.

CHP said deputies with the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office spotted that driver and tried chasing after the vehicle.

The wreck occurred around 9:40 p.m., when the vehicle ran off Coombsville Road 20 feet into a ravine near First Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol’s online incident log.

Authorities in California are investigating a fatal crash involving a Tesla and a parked emergency vehicle that occurred over the weekend.

According to Oakland fire, the incident happened in the area of Serrano Circle and Redwood Road.

A portion of Belmont Avenue was closed Friday morning as police investigated a crash involving a car and pedestrian.

A Dos Palos man suspected of driving intoxicated has been arrested after a fiery crash killed his two passengers north of Dos Palos on Wednesday, according to authorities.

The two women were declared dead on the scene and a male pedestrian was rushed to the hospital with unspecified injuries, NBC Bay Area reported.

According to the CHP, Lorenzo Castillo, 69, of San Martin died in the crash. At least four other people were injured.
