John Ksajikian is a trial attorney with the Drake Law Firm, where he focuses his practice on catastrophic injuries and wrongful death cases throughout California. He exclusively represents individuals injured by the wrongdoing of corporations, insurance companies, and others. He has successfully tried many cases to verdict in several counties up and down the state. The jury verdicts he has helped secure for his deserving clients have been recognized as some of the top verdicts in California for the past several years. For example, he was part of the trial team that obtained the top premises liability verdict in California in 2016, as well as some of the highest personal injury verdicts in the state in 2018 and 2019.
John spent the early years of his practice representing elderly and dependent adult residents of longterm care facilities, such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and group homes. He proudly worked to protect the rights of the most frail and vulnerable members of our community. He also spent several years as a Senior Trial Attorney for a large, well-known, international insurance company, where he litigated complex cases involving serious injuries and substantial damages. His insight, knowledge, and experience of how defendants, their attorneys, and insurers work has proven invaluable in obtaining justice for his current clients.
John is a graduate of the Vanderbilt University Law School in Nashville, Tennessee, where he was a member of the Honor Council and active in various trial advocacy programs and competitions. He was a member of both the National Moot Court Team and National Mock Trial Team — the only member of his law school class selected to represent the school in both national competitions. In his last year at Vanderbilt Law, he won the school’s intramural mock trial competition. Prior to law school, John earned his undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cell Biology, with an emphasis in Neurobiology, from the University of California, Berkeley.
John has extensive experience litigating and trying cases throughout California in both state and federal courts. He is a member of the State Bar of California and an active member of various plaintiff and consumer attorney associations, such as the Consumer Attorneys of California, the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, and the American Association for Justice.
