Izabella Stepanyan has a J.D. from Western State University College of Law and a B.A. in Economics/Law and Society from the University of California, Riverside. Izabella has also held a California Real Estate Broker license since November 2005.
Izabella started her legal career working as an in-house clerk and later a staff attorney for a software company providing legal counsel on a variety of corporate matters including SEC compliance, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, commercial contracts, finance, litigation, and intellectual property.
After over 7 years in-house, Izabella left the corporate world behind and embarked on a career in contract disputes and consumer’s rights litigation at the Law Office of Melvin Neal while also co-founding a real estate brokerage and serving as its managing broker and chief legal officer. Eventually, Izabella gained enough experience as a litigator to start taking on and trying cases on her own. While running her solo practice, Izabella focused on providing affordable legal services to her small business and individual clients and took on a variety of transactional cases including family law/probate matters, landlord/tenant disputes, contract formations, and disputes. Although she enjoyed working closely with her private clients on a variety of legal issues, Izabella left her solo practice behind to join Drake Law Firm in order to focus on litigating personal injury cases.
Having represented private clients from all walks of life and financial situations, Izabella roots for the underdogs and uses her experience and skills to get her clients the best results their case merits.
Izabella immigrated to the U.S. as a teenager and credits her family and community with supporting and motivating her through all the hurdles in her life, education, and career. She has an adult son, is an avid animal lover, and lives on a ranch with five dogs, a miniature horse, and a wild donkey.
